#3 Community Agro-ecosystem Restoration

About the project site: Go Noi village

What we do in building resilience for the land and the people while preserving the traditional way of life in which people nurture the land (Credit: Bphu – our beloved advisor)

The primary goal is to build a permanent flow of carbon from above and below ground biomass to improve all compartments (physical, chemical, and biological) of the soil’s fertility. DMC systems [Direct seeding mulch-based cropping systems] constitute a biologically integrated way to regenerate soil fertility.

Green Youth Collective is the pioneer in incorporating Organics Management (Decentralised municipal organic waste system) into Community Land restoration through the strategic actions in a close loop of (1) Waste transformation –> (2) Resilient and Useful Plant Nurseries –> (3) Tree planting and integrated farming system for land restoration.

We engage vulnerable communities and change makers in a collaboration where green jobs are explored and contribute to the environmental protection and bio-cultural diversity preservation.

We also engage local and international travellers, travel agencies and destination-management companies in joining in this process through tailoring educational, experiential programs.
