From one hour at your hotel to a full day in the community.
Meaningful environmental and social experiences designed around corporate groups, MICE programmes and incentive travel in Hội An and the surrounding communities.

A corporate event already brings people, resources and attention to a destination.
The question is:
What can it leave behind?
Green Youth Collective works with MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners and companies to turn part of a corporate itinerary into a well-designed environmental and community experience — practical enough to fit into a busy programme, meaningful enough to be remembered after it ends.
Participants do not come to observe a sustainability project created for visitors. They step into work that is already happening: circular economy, zero waste, ecological restoration, regenerative farming and community-led climate action.
Real places. Real practitioners. Useful work. Professionally delivered.

From luxury hotels’ bedsheets to hand-painted bags for children

From luxury hotels’ discard soaps to renewed soaps for communities
Beyond the CSR add-on
Corporate sustainability activities can easily become isolated from the place where they happen.
We design differently.
The activities we host are connected to ongoing local systems developed and operated by GYC and its partner organisations in Hội An and the lower Thu Bồn landscape.
Food and material waste is already being recovered through local circular systems.
Young plants are already being raised for farms and restoration sites.
Riverbanks and agricultural land are already being restored.
Community practitioners are already learning, working and earning through these activities.
A visiting corporate group joins a part of that process.
This changes the experience from doing a green activity to contributing to local sustainability work.
Even one hour can matter

Making seed balls for land restoration project, right at the MICE meeting door

Making charcoal from spent coffee grounds, right at the MICE meeting hall
Not every corporate programme has half a day available.
Sometimes there is only one hour between meetings, before dinner or within the conference programme itself.
We can design and deliver meaningful environmental and community activities directly at the hotel, resort or meeting venue where participants are already staying.
No additional transfer is required.
Depending on the group, venue and local context, this may include a circular economy challenge, hands-on material transformation, zero-waste learning, preparing useful items for community programmes, nursery-related activities or another practical action connected to our ongoing work.
This allows sustainability and community engagement to become part of the conference itself rather than an optional excursion that participants may not have time to join.
The principle remains the same:
The activity may be short, but it should still connect to something real.
From a focused 60-minute on-site activation to a half-day or full-day journey into the community, we design around the time you actually have.
Creating shared value through the experience
A well-designed corporate experience should create value in more than one direction.
For the company, it can turn sustainability commitments into tangible employee engagement, learning and action.
For participants, it creates a deeper connection with the destination and a practical understanding of environmental and social issues.
For local practitioners and communities, it can generate income, resources, visibility and continued support for work already rooted in the place.
For hotels, DMCs and tourism partners, it creates a credible way to strengthen destination stewardship while offering clients something more substantial than a conventional CSR activity.
And for the destination itself, resources brought by tourism can help strengthen local systems — from material recovery and regenerative farming to ecological restoration and community capability.
This is what we mean by shared value: the corporate programme succeeds while also strengthening the place in which it happens.
What can your group take part in?
Circular Economy & Zero Waste
Participants explore how a tourism destination can move from waste disposal towards circular systems — and then work directly with one part of that system.
Depending on the programme, this may include transforming used cooking oil into soap, spent coffee grounds into charcoal, giving plastic waste a new life, making useful products for communities by repurposing luxury hospitality’s discarded linens, learning practical source separation, processing organic resources in a closed-loop farming system or supporting reuse and refill system.
The wider story is not simply recycling.
It is about how businesses, communities and local operators can redesign material flows together.

Regenerative Farming & Closed-loop Food Systems
Hospitality’s food-related waste becomes more meaningful when participants can follow what happens next.
At our community and farm-based learning sites, groups can work with composting, biological processing, soil building, agroecological practices and other elements of a closed-loop food system.
Participants see the relationship between what a tourism business discards, what a local farm needs and how biological resources can circulate locally instead of becoming waste.

Useful Plant Nursery & Ecological Restoration
Restoration does not begin on the day a tree is planted.
It begins with understanding the land, choosing suitable species, propagating resilient plants and caring for them long enough for successful establishment.
Corporate groups can join nursery work, prepare biodegradable planting materials, propagate useful plants or — when season and site conditions are appropriate — take part in field restoration.
At Gò Nổi, these activities connect directly with the longer process of restoring a floodplain agroecosystem affected by erosion, flooding, heat and changing land-use conditions.
The experience therefore moves beyond symbolic tree planting towards understanding what it actually takes to restore a landscape.

Community, Craft & Local Knowledge
Environmental sustainability is also about people.
Programmes can bring corporate groups into direct interaction with farmers, community practitioners, craftspeople and local organisations who are part of the work.
Rather than presenting the village as a backdrop, we help participants understand how livelihoods, ecological knowledge, food, materials and landscape are connected — and why keeping these relationships alive matters for the future of a destination.
For incentive and international groups, this can become one of the most memorable parts of the programme: meeting a place through the people who are actively caring for it.

Soaps, useful linen products, health-friendly toothpowder, compost and ecological plants in pots..how much your group can enjoy hands-on outing activities in teamworks, while helping the environment and the local communities.
Designed around your event
There is not only one CSR package that we simply repeat.
We start with the realities of your event:
time, group size, venue, mobility, season, client priorities and the level of participation you want.
60 minutes — at your hotel or meeting venue
For programmes with very limited time, we can bring a carefully designed impact activity directly into the hotel, resort or conference venue.
No additional transfer is required.
The activity can become part of a conference break, team session, pre-dinner programme, sustainability session or employee engagement segment — while still connecting participants to a genuine environmental or community project beyond the meeting room.
Half-day — one place, deeper participation
A half-day can focus on one place and some interconnected activities.
Participants have more time to understand the context, work alongside local practitioners and see how individual actions relate to a wider system.
A programme might combine circular economy and community enterprise at Hội An Eco Hub, or restoration, farming and nursery work in Gò Nổi.
Full-day — understand the system
A full day can connect circular economy, regenerative farming, restoration, community interaction and local food into a more complete journey through the landscape.
Participants move from individual activities towards understanding the relationships between tourism, resources, livelihoods and ecological resilience.
For many corporate groups, this becomes less like a CSR excursion and more like a shared learning journey through a living local system.
Large groups — designed for participation, learning and contributing
For larger MICE groups, participants can move through parallel activity stations, allowing many people to contribute without turning the programme into a mass demonstration.
Our current large-group programme design can accommodate approximately 250–300 participants through multiple rotations, subject to activity type, season, site capacity and safety assessment.
Activities can typically be structured into 30-40 minute modules and combined according to the available programme window.
Whether we are working with 20 participants or several hundred, the design question remains the same:
What meaningful contribution can this group realistically make with the time, people and resources available?
Two places. One interconnected story.
Hội An Eco Hub: Circular systems in practice
Hội An Eco Hub is a community zero-waste centre where participants can see what happens behind the idea of a zero-waste destination.
It connects waste separation, material recovery, reuse and refill, organics management, education and collaboration with local government, tourism businesses and local communities.
For corporate groups, it is an accessible place to move quickly from understanding a system to working inside it.
It works particularly well as part of a half-day programme or as the first chapter of a full-day journey.
Gò Nổi & REwild land restoration farm: Regeneration in a living landscape
A short journey from Hội An leads into the floodplain villages of Gò Nổi.
Here, the story changes from materials to land.
At REwild and neighbouring community sites, participants encounter regenerative farming, useful plant nurseries, riverbank restoration, climate adaptation and village livelihoods within the landscape where these challenges are actually unfolding.
A corporate activity becomes part learning journey, part teamwork and part contribution — grounded in the realities of a rural community adapting to change.
Professional delivery matters
We combine sustainability expertise, local relationships, programme design and on-the-ground tourism operations.
For MICE agencies and DMCs, we can work as a specialist local delivery partner within the wider itinerary — coordinating closely with your operations team while taking responsibility for the sustainability and community components entrusted to us.
This may include programme design, activity preparation, local partner coordination, facilitation, group rotation, site logistics and impact documentation.
You retain control of the overall event.
We make the sustainability experience work on the ground.
Impact that can be explained
We are careful with the word impact.
Not every participant activity should be translated into an exaggerated carbon number or a claim about changing a community in one afternoon.
Instead, before an event we identify what the group will genuinely contribute to and what can reasonably be recorded.
Depending on the programme, this may include:
- materials recovered, reused or transformed;
- organic resources processed;
- seedlings propagated;
- restoration work completed;
- useful products prepared for community programmes;
- local practitioners and community service providers engaged;
- resources directed towards ongoing local projects.
These outputs can be documented where appropriate.
But the more important distinction is what happens afterwards.
The nursery continues growing plants.
The composting system keeps processing organic resources.
The restoration site continues to be monitored.
Community practitioners continue their work.
The event is temporary. The system is not.
What participants take home
They may remember making something with their own hands.
But the deeper learning is often different.
Waste becomes a question of design.
A tree becomes part of an ecosystem.
A village becomes more than scenery.
A sustainability commitment becomes a series of practical local decisions.
And a corporate trip becomes an opportunity to understand what positive participation in a destination, with its land and people can actually look like.
From corporate activity to destination contribution
Meetings and incentive travel bring substantial resources into destinations.
Usually those resources flow through hotels, transport, food, venues and entertainment.
We see another possibility.
A small part of those resources — time, knowledge, purchasing power, employee participation and corporate attention — can also strengthen the environmental and community systems that make the destination worth visiting in the first place.
That is the longer-term opportunity behind our MICE programmes.
Not simply:
How can we make this event more sustainable?
But:
How can the presence of this event help strengthen the place that hosts it?
